Listen first
Center the lived experiences of travelers, families, caregivers, and professionals.
Making air travel more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive, developmental, and invisible disabilities.
Accessibility shouldn’t end when the airplane door closes.
Vinny loves being out in the world. He’s kind, funny, and always up for a good adventure. He’s also the reason Every Mind in Flight exists.
Our family’s experience while traveling opened our eyes to how many barriers still exist for travelers with sensory, cognitive, developmental, and invisible disabilities.
Every Mind in Flight, Inc. is a New Hampshire nonprofit corporation and a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity.
From Vinny’s mom
Vinny is legally my stepson, but in my heart, he is my son. I chose to be his mom—and loving him has changed the way I see the world.
Every Mind in Flight began with one family’s experience, but it belongs to every traveler and caregiver who has ever wondered whether the journey would be too hard, too unpredictable, or simply not built with them in mind.
We believe families should not have to choose between staying home and enduring a travel experience that overlooks their needs.
Every Mind in Flight exists to make air travel more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive, developmental, and invisible disabilities. Through advocacy, education, traveler support, research, and collaboration with the aviation and disability communities, we work to reduce barriers, increase predictability, and help more people experience the freedom to travel.
